Joelle graduated from Humboldt State University, now Cal Poly Humboldt, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. She has been in the field of public accounting since 2006 and joined Friedlander, Cherwon, Capper in 2014, becoming partner in 2023.

She provides tax preparation, tax planning, accounting, and consulting servicesfor closely held businesses and high net worth individuals and families. She also has a background that includes financial statement audit, review and compilation services.

Joelle is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPA’s.

In her free time Joelle enjoys traveling the world, kayaking, mountain biking,snowboarding, running, and spending time with family and friends.
